Music
I have been
playing the trumpet for over 10 years, although I have not practiced
seriously for the past several years. I have played in many
ensembles at UF, including the marching band. I have also been
toying with the guitar for a few years. My favorite bands include
The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Beck, Collective Soul, Cream, David Bowie,
The Doors, Electric Light Orchestra, Elvis, Eric Clapton, Franz
Ferdinand, The Fratellis, Green Day, The Hives, Jet, Journey, The
Killers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, mc chris, My Chemical Romance, Pearl Jam, Pink
Floyd, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Reel Big Fish, Steve Miller Band, The Strokes
(my favorite recording band), Tenacious D, Terence Boylan (not for his
music, but for his swagger), They Might Be Giants, Tom Waits, We Five
(for Dave), Weezer, The White Stripes, and of course, the greatest band
of all time, Led Zeppelin. For trumpet players, I recommend Arturo Sandoval, Maynard Ferguson, and Miles Davis.

Sports
I am an avid
Gators sports fan and am proud to say I have attended all Gator home
football games for the past 5 years. I have also attended all
home Gator basketball and volleyball games for the last 3 years.
I also regularly attend Gator Gymnastics meets. My favorite
Gator athletes are Chris Leak, Lee Humphrey, Angie McGinnis, and Corey
Hartung. As far as professional sports go, I don't watch them.
For the past 3 years I have been playing volleyball somewhat
regularly and encourage anyone who wants to play or is looking for a
ringer to contact me. I also frequently bowl and play tennis.
