Boat transportation to Seahorse Key
is available from the University of Florida dock
located at Cedar Key (see map). From
Gainesville (location of University of Florida),
proceed southwest to Cedar Key on Highway 24. Cross
the four bridges entering Cedar Key, then look for
a Napa Auto Parts store on the left side of the
road (about one short block from the main part of
town). The Napa store is at the corner of Third
Street where you should turn left and proceed about
a quarter mile to the first street where you can
turn to the left. This
street is A Street. After
you turn left on A Street, park anywhere on the
side of the road. The
UF dock is the first dock on the left, only a short
distance from the corner of A Street and Third Street.
